Work Flexibility: Hybrid or OnsiteLead collaboration with senior leaders globally to support business strategy and priorities and translate into communications strategy for employees. Identify opportunities to create cross-group collaboration and synergies. Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with Leadership Team on sensitive business and organizational issues.Lead executive communications strategy across the globe, serving as a consultant to Neurovascular Division Leadership team, supporting the vision and objectives of the commercial business strategy.Lead Communications team through planning and implementation of a strategic, integrated marketing approach across all Division initiatives, programs and activities. Develop effective strategies for public relations, marketing communications campaigns, brand awareness, and a robust customer journey across all platforms. Use quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the success and effectiveness of communications initiatives and campaigns with target audiences on an ongoing basis. Adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to meet long-term objectives, annual goals and KPIs.Lead extensive cross-group, cross-division and cross-boundary collaboration at all levels with excellent written and verbal communication, a wide range of analytical capabilities, and the ability to build compelling internal presentations, customer-facing content and comprehensive business review materials.Support senior leaders and global functions through company transformation and change initiatives.Develop and maintain strong leadership relationships and regular touch points to stay connected and aligned to global commercial business and functional needs. Connect leaders together for broader discussion and decision-making as needed.Develop and support leadership speaking engagements, including meeting presentations, multi-media, scripts, key messages, talk tracks and executive presentations.Drive the effective execution of the brand strategy and align NV strategies to company-wide initiatives.Proactively engage senior leaders to surface organizational challenges and emerging issues, providing enterprise-level perspective, and shaping strategic communication and solutions that align with broader organizational goals.Lead strategy to create consistent touchpoints for Division Leadership team across Neurovascular global locations on an annual basis.Manage outside strategic communications consultants.Accountable for team performance and results, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the communications function including budgeting, planning and talent development opportunities.Regularly communicates Communication’s vision, goals, and achievements to all employees as well as to senior staff. Communication may include, but is not limited to: annual meetings, quarterly town halls, weekly staff meetings, etc.Attracts, develops, engages, and aligns talent in the Communications organization, including importing and exporting talent throughout StrykerDrives employee development and engagement through communication, support, trainings, and responsive managementSupports the growth and development of the team by fostering personal growth, being responsible and accountable, exuding passion towards the success of the business, and treating all with dignity and respectParticipates in sales meetings, tradeshows, marketing meetings, product launches and other events as requested
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, with a focus in English, communications, marketing or related field preferred10+ years of proven leadership experience in communications, marketing, branding or related area requiredAbility to build strong relationships with senior leaders and influence strategy and directionAbility to communicate with and understand business needs and articulate those needs in a strategy and planAbility to lead communications strategy around major change initiativesCross-functional project management and collaboration skills across multiple teams and levels and boundaries.Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issuesStrong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to analyze and measure successExecution-oriented, self-starter and self-navigator who can prioritize high-value projects versus tasks in a fast-paced environment and balance demands of multiple projectsVery responsive, with a customer-centric / solutions-oriented approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levelsExperience working in a decentralized environmentOutstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tailor communications style to audienceExceptional organizational and project management skillsStrong attention to detail a mustPhysical and Mental Requirements
