Responsibilities Provides executive leadership and supervision to the entire Food and Beverage department within the Garrison. Evaluates the success of Food and Beverage programs based on financial results, customer satisfaction, and market desires. Reviews financial reports, Food and Beverage costs, develops and maintains annual operating budgets. Performs a full range of supervisor duties including developing, evaluating, and obtaining approval for staffing levels. This position requires active participation in the daily operations and direct involvement in all aspects of the service execution. Exercises responsibility for the direction and oversight of a complex array of food and beverage outlets, extensive catering operations, and military personnel dining services, etc. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications **Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria. **Progressively responsible experience, that includes supervisory or managerial experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level or equivalent position. Highly Preferred: 1. Experience in direct leadership experience managing multiple food and beverage operations simultaneously (e.g., restaurants, cafés, snack bars, catering, and institutional dining). 2. Experience leading high-volume food service operations (e.g., university dining, hospital food service, troop feeding, or centralized catering). 3. Experience setting long-term vision, strategic goals, and budget priorities for multi-outlet food and beverage operations. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
