Seeking candidate with extensive business experience, skilled in partnering to achieve financial goals and leading successful teams. This role is office-based at either our Budapest, Hungary site, or our Lagunilla, Costa Rica site. There will be the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. Occasional international travel will be required. What will you do? + Partnership: Partner seamlessly with workstream leaders to drive financial and operational results supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific’s strategic and financial goals + Financial Domain and Management Reporting: Ensure high integrity of financials and clarity in understanding results; deliver a cohesive story for senior leadership decision-making through reviews + Process Acuity: Own and lead key financial processes, including AOP, STRAP, month-end and quarter closes, and shared service project reporting + Flexibility: Work cross-functionally with individuals and teams from different areas and drive continuous operational improvement in daily activities **Who we are looking for:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting or Economics strongly desired; CPA or MBA preferred + Proven experience (10+ years ideally) in financial management, preferably in a global organization or within shared service sector + High Potential Talent: Demonstrate consistent performance, drive, flexibility, and financial acuity + Leadership: Lead a finance team of eight, including three managers, and provide business partnership to succeed against goals + Influence: Understand and translate business challenges and requirements into sound solutions attaining consensus to support innovative ideas with the leadership team + Balance leading finance responsibilities daily, partner on operational aspects, frame leadership priorities. + Hard-working: Surpass goals, deliver consistently, and achieve outstanding outcomes; capable of leading projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and achieving results in a dynamic environment + Data-Focused: Acquire and analyze data to drive your forecasting and identification of risks and opportunities of financial results vs plan + Innovative: Challenge core processes and use prior finance experience to drive innovative solutions and daily efficiency + Communication: Excellent communication and social skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions; Advanced level of English language **What’s in it for you:** We offer competitive remuneration, an annual incentive plan bonus scheme and a range of employee benefits!
