Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Director, Digital Ad Sales Finance for Programmatic will support core ad sales finance processes for the rapidly growing Programmatic team, primarily owning consolidated weekly financial reporting and ad sales revenue forecasting processes. The role will also assist with broader NBCU Digital portfolio reporting and analyses.
+ This role will provide ongoing support to the Vice President of Peacock and Programmatic ad sales finance, including:
+ Ownership and improvement of Sales reporting and metric analysis
+ Research drivers of key variances and trends
+ Consistently build better data visualization reporting and tools
+ Execute routine postmortem analyses and ad hoc requests
+ Own the Monthly and Quarterly Close process
+ Own Budget and Quarterly Forecasting process
+ Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Salesforce, Double Verify, Hubble, Business Intelligence, etc.)
+ Develop expertise in digital and streaming ad market trends, growth, and competition
+ Work cross-functionally with sales, strategy, planning, and Business Intelligence
+ Manage and develop direct reports
+ BA/BS 4-year degree; MBA, advanced finance degree, and/or CPA a plus
+ 7+ years of finance experience
+ Prior experience in a finance role supporting an ad sales function within a media, entertainment, or digital content company highly desired
+ Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset; ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly
+ Thorough knowledge and experience with SAP, Microsoft Suite
+ Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with accuracy
+ Ability to build financial models and presentations for senior leadership
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Demonstrated leadership skills, especially ability to influence and lead change in cross-functional teams
+ High energy and ability to multi-task
+ Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
