Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team is recruiting for a Director, Field Reimbursement Immunology Dermatology leading a team of field reimbursement management (FRM) team, which will be a west coast based field position.
PECS is committed to setting the standard on Patient Experience (Px), building more personalized, seamless, and supportive experiences to help patients start and stay on treatments across the portfolio.
The Director, Field Reimbursement Immunology Dermatology, is a leadership position accountable for effectively leading, developing, and managing a team of FRM Managers and FRMS who have access & fulfillment related responsibilities across Immunology healthcare provider accounts as well as collaborating with a wide range of cross-disciplinary internal and external partners. The Director is focused on ensuring healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers are enabled with the information, tools and resources needed to ensure patient ability to start and stay on therapy.
As the Director, Field Reimbursement Immunology Dermatology, the ideal candidate will:
+ Contribute to the development and shaping of the FRM strategy, define team success metrics for the associate directors, Field teams and inspire innovative solutions.
+ Build effective partnerships with suppliers who provide FRM services. Collaborate with the leadership team to drive contracted metrics, develop new metrics, and drive innovation.
+ Be responsible for leading the team to enhance access & fulfillment related impact for JJIM prescribed patients starting or staying on therapy.
+ Be responsible for developing and executing on an aligned PECS business plan.
+ Aid the team in securing and applying resources and efforts to enhance the JJIM access & fulfillment experience delivered to healthcare providers.
+ Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse and hardworking team who are competent and skilled in the healthcare marketplace, and in access & fulfillment. Develop and coach on core proficiencies and imperatives within their area of responsibility.
+ Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners (ie, Sales Leadership, Brand, PECS, Compliance, etc) as well as external partners & collaborators to develop optimal access to and established relationships with healthcare providers and their staff.
+ Serve as a member of the PECS Field Access & Affordability Solutions leadership, contributing best practices and supporting cross-cutting projects (e.g., developing strategy for the overall function, training, technology, etc.)Manage and optimize performance within an assigned team budget.
· Other duties may be assigned as needed.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree is required. MBA or other related graduate level degree preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years healthcare business related experience required, including a concentration in biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement or managed markets
+ 3 + years of direct people management / leadership
+ Demonstrated capabilities and performance success in prior roles
+ Knowledge of reimbursement principles including pharmacy and benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Cross functional experience in multiple leadership roles
+ Proven track record leading or collaborating with a field-based reimbursement and/or nursing team
+ Proven ability to navigate high profile, complex business circumstances
+ Experience developing and implementing customer focused strategies
+ Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
+ Budget management experience
This role involves travel up to 50% of the time.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. ·
