Purpose

The Director - Enterprise PMO is a senior leadership role responsible for building an agile PMO that transforms and drives the execution of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. This individual will lead a high-performing team to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and program execution, enabling the organization to achieve its long-term goals. The Director will oversee program governance, portfolio management, and cross-functional coordination, acting as a key advisor to executive leadership.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

PMO Definition and Strategic Alignment

Define and the vision, mission, and strategy of the Enterprise PMO in alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities. Translate corporate strategy into actionable programs and initiatives. Ensure alignment of all programs with organizational goals and KPIs. Partner with senior leaders to prioritize and sequence strategic initiatives.

Program & Portfolio Management

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs. Establish and maintain a robust program governance framework. Monitor program performance, risks, and interdependencies across the portfolio.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and lead a team of program managers and analysts. Facilitate executive steering committees and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Change Management & Communication

Develop change management strategies to support successful adoption of initiatives. Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

Define success metrics and track progress against strategic goals. Deliver executive-level dashboards and reports to inform decision-making. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic planning, or transformation leadership. Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment. Strong knowledge of program management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean). Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with portfolio management tools and executive reporting.
