How will you make an impact in this role?

The Director, Analytics and Insights will have a proven track record of mining various data sources, developing business strategies, be a strong collaborator who builds excellent relationships across enterprise stakeholders, and a leader who actively develops a high-performing team.

Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams across the Enterprise to understand business objectives and lead data analysis to identify prospective strategies for business consideration. Drive consultations by engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to define opportunities and objectives to deliver impactful business imperatives. Analyze and diagnose complex business problems by identifying root causes and developing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Identify and measure campaign KPIs and deliver post-campaign results to stakeholders and business partners in addition to the development and distribution of recurring KPI reports across the business. Oversee the prioritization of multiple projects aligned with strategic priorities. Lead a team of diverse colleagues to complete deliverables, develop their capabilities, and help them to accomplish their career objectives. Educate, champion, and elevate analytics across the broader organization.

Qualifications:

Advanced Excel and data visualization capabilities. Advanced understanding of SQL and at least one SQL client software application (E.g. BigQuery, Dbeaver, Hive Terminal). Working knowledge with at least one programming language is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently leveraging existing resources (existing documentation, training modules, online resources). Ability to draw insights from data and link identified insights to deliver on strategic imperatives. Proven ability to influence and manage both internal and external partners with the ability to diagnose needs and create and deliver actionable solutions. Proven track record of leading comprehensive strategic reviews, developing recommendations and supporting stakeholders with implementation. Strong understanding of card economics and associated P&L with proven success in identifying and executing on opportunities to improve profitability. Demonstrated ability to strive within a highly matrixed organization; capable of influencing and building internal alignment across lines of business. Strong team player with ability to build relationships and influence decisions to get things done without direct authority. Track record of achievement with intense results orientation; proven ability to drive change. Ability to create strong team environment encouraging innovation, diversity and creative thinking.
