The Work You’ll Do:

As Director, Enablement, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that empowers Sovos’ sales teams to perform at their best and drive revenue growth. You'll join at a formative stage of the enablement function and play a key role in shaping the vision alongside the VP of Enablement. This is a highly strategic role for a proven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to deliver measurable impact across global sales teams.

More Specifically, You Will:

Lead global sales enablement initiatives across inside sales, field sales, and channel teams

Oversee development and upkeep of training resources, playbooks, battle cards, and e-learning modules

Design and implement onboarding programs to accelerate new hire productivity

Deliver ongoing sales training tied to methodology, product updates, and competitive intelligence

Introduce best practices and technology solutions to optimize enablement tools and processes

Partner with Sales Leadership, Product, and Marketing to align on priorities and evolve enablement efforts

Collaborate with Sales Ops to analyze performance data and identify coaching opportunities

Manage a high-performing enablement team focused on driving tangible sales results

Create and maintain sales certification programs and competency assessments

Support major product launches, GTM initiatives, and change management programs

Demonstrate initiative, strategic thinking, and accountability for sales impact

What We Need From You:

5+ years leading sales enablement at a B2B software company

Proven ability to improve sales metrics such as quota attainment, ramp time, and win rates

Deep knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN)

Experience with sales tech (CRM, LMS, content management platforms)

Familiarity with enterprise software and complex B2B sales cycles

Strong leadership and coaching skills with a hands-on approach

Executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Analytical mindset with experience measuring enablement ROI

High energy, self-awareness, and a continuous improvement mentality

Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to complete a background check and drug test upon hire
