Purpose: As Director, Employee Engagement and Branding, you will lead and shape above-product global communications for Electrophysiology (EP) business including global employee engagement, culture, and thought leadership. This leader will also oversee the brand and web platform strategy and manage a team of creatives that are responsible for crafting J&J MedTech branded content for the EP business. This position works closely with EP Global Strategic Marketing, Regional Commercial Marketing and J&J MedTech Brand & Digital teams to deliver impactful brand-compliant communications and creative assets, targeted to employees, electrophysiologists and patients globally. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Electrophysiology & Neurovascular, Communications & Public Affairs. Responsibilities: + Manage team responsible for global employee engagement & culture for Electrophysiology business, including key leadership announcements, town halls and change management initiatives + Lead all aspects of content strategy and execution of Company Group Chair executive communications and thought leadership + Work in partnership with our corporate and sector brand operations team to align governance approach and brand expression. + Lead and develop talent on our brand and creative teams and partner with franchise teams + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and governance across all marketing materials, including digital, print, and social media. + Develop overarching EP corporate narrative and brand campaign development to build brand recognition for J&J MedTech within Electrophysiology space + Partner with Corporate Brand Equity and Sector brand team to ensure our Electrophysiology business is represented in J&J Brand campaigns and content + Represent Electrophysiology business on Digital Council to drive initiatives and influence direction critical to EP business within J&J MedTech digital platforms + Lead all aspects of web strategy and architecture; manage transition to new J&J MedTech website + Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of web transition and content strategy + Partner with J&J Cardiovascular teams to improve J&J presence at medical meetings, corporate partnerships and strategic initiatives + Collaborate with enterprise, other regional and sector colleagues to drive broad awareness and impact of communications strategies + Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making. **Qualifications** + Required: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree + 10 years of experience in communications, brand or marketing role and 5 years people leadership experience + Prior work in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or consumer health fields + Experience working with website or digital strategy in healthcare field + Strong strategic and operational skills + Experienced working in a highly matrix global environment, with experience crafting and leading cross-functional teams to deliver business impact. + Demonstrated resilience and perseverance in shaping new approaches in ambiguous situations + Experience counseling senior leaders on business opportunities, communications objectives, strategy and message + Experience managing branded marketing or PR campaigns, media relations and issues management + Demonstrates expert judgment in change management situations + Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrated ability to coordinate agency partner + The position will require up to 20% domestic or international travel Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Additional Description for Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
