The Cybersecurity Strategy Advancement role is responsible for the development, management, and promulgation of the EIP (Enterprise Information Protection) Cybersecurity and Data Governance. The leader in this role empowers a team of associates to evangelize cyber and data best practices through a variety of mediums such as conferences, communications, training sessions, and other training programs. This team fosters a data and security mindset across all of Humana and communicates across all levels of the organization from executive to associate.

Executive Communications  

Work with AVP Strategy & Enablement and other senior leaders to prepare executive level communications and presentations such as Board Reporting 

Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop quarterly materials for Board of Directors meetings  

Orchestrate and deliver on ad-hoc requests and integration with the CIO office and its priorities  

Evangelize EIP’s strategic priorities through robust communications and presentations 

 

Foster security-minded behaviors, and data literacy by delivering robust cyber and data governance training 

Lead the development and execution of cyber training and awareness activities to reduce risk across the enterprise 

Enhance data governance and cyber literacy through communications, training, and user educational forums 

Manage and host enterprise-wide events to evangelize strong data and cyber-security practices (i.e. CSAW (Cybersecurity Awareness Week)) 

Mature the cyber and data culture across Humana 

Expand and measure compliance activities both internally and externally to ensure training requirements are met 

Expand maturity of training by implementing a human risk management approach and identifying and proactively mitigating risks around associate access, activities, and other factors. 

Build and evangelize KRI’s around human risk to relevant stakeholders. 

Drive adoption and reduce friction around cyber capabilities and data governance processes through a robust and methodical organizational change management approach 

Host cyber and data activities, competitions, and events to boost awareness, encourage collaboration, and strengthen community ties 

 Grow and improve organizational culture within EIP 

Develop and implement associate-centric programs that promote transparency, encourage speaking up, cultivate development, and align to Humana's Values and EIP’s business strategy 

Build, develop, and execute against an EIP culture roadmap which improves and measure engagement, inclusivity, security etc. 

Manage internal townhalls, cultural events and culture roadmap 

Serve as the conduit between EIP and Humana cultural activities and events 

Measure and report on areas of improvement and opportunities to Senior Leaders 

Maintain and measure a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and engagement

Key Candidate Qualifications  

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field or experience   

10+ years of experience leading people teams comprised of a mix of associates and contractors  

Cybersecurity and data protection knowledge or work experience  

Adept in data governance practices 

Organizational Change Management, instructional design, and training expertise 

A demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and offer opinions and perspectives that run counter to prevailing viewpoints  

Solid understanding of business strategy and a record of demonstrating how technology enables business outcomes  

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences  

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences  

Remote/WAH requirements:

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$189,400 - $260,500 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
