About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the sales growth of Harman Consumer brands across D2C eCommerce and indirect eCommerce channels. You will lead eCommerce & digital strategy and ongoing optimization of Harman’s Consumer digital sales, with full D2C eCom P&L responsibility. You will lead all digital performance marketing activities and analysis to drive brand awareness, acquire new customers, and build customer loyalty, while engaging customers to drive sales. 

What You Will Do

Lead and grow D2C eCommerce business for the North America region for all D2C channels, including JBL.com, HarmanKardon.com, etc., as well as 3P marketplace stores i.e., eBay, Walmart, and Amazon.com.  Own North America D2C eCommerce P&L and responsibility for annual web sales targets and profitability. Drive Amazon.com sales growth by implementing customer acquisition strategies that include Sponsored Ads and DSP.  Optimize Amazon content and customer experience. for optimal sales. Work closely with Executive Director Sales (Indirect) on digital roadmap and performance marketing for the Americas region, which includes supporting the key wholesale digital account sales i.e. BestBuy, Target, Walmart, etc. Work with VP & GM of North America region and regional team members to define the regional e-commerce, digital vision & strategy.   Collaborate with cross-functional partners and the Global eCommerce team to manage all aspects of the e-commerce business, including business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and online marketing, website design, customer service, operations, finance, legal, web analytics, and web technologies. Help drive the social web marketing strategy as it relates to customer acquisition,n supported by the Harman North America marketing team.  Oversee the day-to-day e-Commerce operations, merchandising, content, digital marketing, customer experience, conversion rate optimizations, web analytics, payment/fraud and website improvements. Collaborate with the Global eCommerce team on, but not limited to, content, payment/fraud, global merchandising, and other areas shared with Global eCommerce.  Lead the development of the North America eCommerce team members.

What You Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing or related field, plus 10 years of experience. Experience in web design, digital design and e-commerce.   Solid experience and grasp of IT functionality, web technology & structure, order apps, payment systems, and inventory management.  Skill and knowledge in search engine optimization (SEO), SEM, paid search, affiliate marketing, retargeting, email,l and other media supporting customer acquisition and retention, along with a strong web sales/marketing background.  Passion for eCommerce and Digital business, and the ability to inspire others to their best work and best selves.Strong leadership experience and coaching skills.  

Bonus Points if You Have

Master’s and/or MBA degree15+ years of experience in Business Management, Marketing, web design, digital design, and/or eCommerce.

Salary Ranges:

$ 173,250 - $ 254,100
