Join Gilead and help create possible, together. **Job Description** The Director of Digital Content Enablement will be a strategic leader responsible for the operational efficiency and effectiveness of Gilead's creative content development and deployment leveraging Modular Content and its related technology. This role will focus on establishing best practices, managing external agency relationships, championing modular content strategies, and leveraging technology such as authoring tools and workflow review tools like Veeva Vault to drive a reuse mindset and accelerate content delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading creative and development teams, fostering collaboration, and implementing scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in working in an agency setting, working with modular content, deep expertise in technology tools like Veeva Vault PromoMats, a proven ability to drive a reuse mindset, and strong leadership experience in leading creative and development teams. _This role is a Foster City CA based position with 3 days in office (T, W, TH)._ **Key Responsibilities** + Understand and drive adoption of modular content leveraging existing and future looking processes. + Drive agency management around expectations for modular content adoption. + Ensure brand teams & agencies adhere to Gilead's operational workflows and integrating operational teams where necessary to drive adoption of mod con. + Establish clear communication channels and feedback loops between internal teams and external agencies. + Drive the adoption and expansion of a modular content strategy across all creative outputs, ensuring content is easily adaptable, reusable, and compliant. + Work closely with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to define content modules and ensure their appropriate use. + Develop and maintain content hierarchies and tagging structures to maximize reusability and searchability. + Serve as a key subject matter expert and champion for creative operations technology, with a strong emphasis on **Veeva Vault** **PromoMats** . + Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and platforms to enhance creative, authoring, production, review, and distribution processes. + Advise on existing workflows within Veeva Vault to streamline content lifecycle management, from creation to approval and distribution. + Actively promote and embed a reuse mindset across all creative and marketing teams, encouraging the repurposing of approved content assets. + Develop training programs and guidelines to educate stakeholders on the benefits and practicalities of content reuse. + Implement metrics to track content reuse and demonstratethe efficiency gains. + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of creative operations specialists, project managers, and/or development professionals. + Actively drive change management and adoption of modular content with cross functional reviewers in the medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review process, identifying opportunities for efficiency. **Basic Qualifications** + **Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience** **OR** + **Masters' Degree and Ten Years’ Experience** **OR** + **PhD and Eight Years’ Experience** **Preferred** **Qualifications** + Demonstrate experience in agency management and working in creative teams delivering for customers across all digital channels (Email, Banners, Web etc) + Extensive experience with modular content strategies and their implementation in a regulated environment. + Deep expertise in Veeva Vault PromoMatsand Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and other relevant content management and workflow technologies. + Proven ability to drive a "reuse mindset" and implement strategies for content efficiency. + Strong leadership experience, including leading and developing creative teams, development teams, or project management teams. + In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing and regulatory landscape. + Excellent change management, project management and communication skills. + Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, medical, regulatory, and IT. The salary range for this position is: $226,185.00 - $292,710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
