Job Duties & Responsibilities · Partner with Software Engineering, Data Services, AI and business teams to translate complex requirements into actionable data engineering solutions · Drive data platform development through the entire lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals · Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize data pipelines, architecture, and infrastructure · Lead the development of technical products and solutions using big data and cloud-based technologies ensuring they are designed and built to be scalable, sustainable, and robust · Present complex technical concepts to leaders and non-technical stakeholders · Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage · Other duties as assigned Knowledge & Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s degree preferred · Minimum of 5 years of experience leading data engineering practice and platforms, or related products · Deep understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and modern data stack technologies · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP Big Query) and their data service offerings · Strong technical background with the ability to engage in detailed architectural discussions leveraging cloud technologies and diverse coding languages · Experience with modern data tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and data lake technologies · Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences · Preferred understanding of ML/AI technologies and their data requirements · Experience leading large-scale data transformation initiatives · Track record of successful data product launches in B2B enterprise environments Our Commitment to Equal Opportunity PRGX is an equal opportunity employer.
