Director, Data Architecture Location US-MD-NORTH BETHESDA System ID 981581 Category Purchasing & Distribution Employment Status Full-Time Posted Range $112900 to $170830 Company : Segment Desc CORPORATE STAFF   Remote Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an experienced Director, Data Architecture to lead the design, implementation, and optimization ofour Microsoft Azure and Oracle-based data ecosystem.  This role will drive enterprise data strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across Azure Analytics, Databricks, Dremio, Oracle EDW, Oracle Analytics, Oracle GoldenGate, and other relevant platforms. Remote role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central time zones   What You'll Do Architect and implement cloud and hybrid data platforms leveraging Azure and Oracle technologiesDesign enterprise data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and common ETL toolsOversee data governance, compliance, and security following best practices for GRC frameworksOptimize data warehousing and analytics using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Dremio, Oracle EDW, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)Lead data migration and integration projects using Oracle GoldenGate, Azure Logic Apps, and Kafka for real-time data streamingImplement best practices for data modeling, lineage tracking, and metadata management with Microsoft and other toolsCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure data strategy alignment with business objectivesBuild and mentor a team of data engineers and architects, driving innovation and operational excellence What We Offer

What You Bring 7+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics leadership roles.Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Synapse, Databricks, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Purview, Data Factory) and Oracle (EDW, Analytics Cloud, GoldenGate, ODI) technologies.Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.Experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and related languages for data engineering and analytics.Leadership experience in scaling data teams and implementing large-scale enterprise solutions.Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, Oracle Analytics, Databricks, or related technologies a plusExperience with AI/ML-driven analytics platforms within Microsoft and Oracle ecosystems a plusKnowledge of serverless and microservices architectures within Azure and Oracle Cloud a plus  Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Requirement - 7 years
Minimum Functional Requirement - 7 years of distribution and procurement experience including current systems and process flows related to order catalogs, implementation and opportunity analysis
