About the Role:
Everest Group IT is looking for a Technology Resiliency Director to join our Global Resilience team within our Information Security and Risk (ISR) organization. The position’s primary focus will be to serve as the organization’s technical resilience program lead. This is a governance related role that will build out a new technical resilience program and develop the required policy, standards, and exercise management components.
This is a global role that will develop and oversee all elements of our disaster recovery, Cyber Vault, and other various contingency planning programs. Additionally, the role will ensure the organization has sufficient technology recovery contingencies and ensure appropriate application backup / failover testing is conducted.
Position Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Assist in developing and implementing an enhanced technology resilience program. This includes establishing and maintaining all enterprise disaster recovery policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Work with the Infrastructure and Development teams to develop application failover runbooks and associated standards.
Experience with Rubrik immutable backup architecture, design, and implementation.
Identify and track issues that arise with the firm’s disaster recovery program and ensure an appropriate remediation plan is created and enacted.
Work with the Infrastructure and Architecture teams to develop go-forward technology resiliency design patterns.
Develop infrastructure and application recovery planning in a virtualized server and cloud environments (Azure).
Work collaboratively with business continuity, emergency management, and process owners to align disaster recovery plans with business needs.
Assist in developing our new Fusion Risk Management software implementation.
Lead remediation of corrective actions identified as part of exercises and / or audits.
Establish a Resiliency Program reporting cadence with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards detailing program deliverables compliance.
Key Work Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of experience in disaster recovery planning and failover testing of technology components.
2-3 years of Azure cloud resiliency architectures and solutions.
Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing at a financial institution is preferred, not required.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including data storage and backup, as well as network infrastructure, virtualization, and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
Experience with resiliency tools such as Everbridge and Fusion Risk Management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability .
Highly motivated self-starter that can operate independently managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with large enterprise application backup and recovery strategies.
Ability to convey highly technical or complex information to wide audiences.
Effective Project Management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization (courtesy, tact, and professionalism).

Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity or Information Security related certifications
Project/Program Management certifications
Everbridge mass notification platform experience
Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
For CA, NY, NJ or IL: The base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $185,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
