Director, Corporate FP&A

The Director, Corporate FP&A is a highly visible role that leads aggregate McKesson reporting and consolidation, while providing exposure to various business units and functions. This role will oversee the consolidated enterprise reporting, rolling forecast, and operating plan for all key financial statements and own the production of quarterly Finance presentations to the Board of Directors. This role will also support Investor Relations and External Reporting with key shareholder activities and support compensation with annual incentive payout calculations. Responsibilities 

Lead consolidated enterprise reporting, rolling forecast, and operating plan for the full enterprise P&L, Statement of Cash Flows, and the Balance Sheet 

Own the production of quarterly Finance presentations to the Board of Directors 

Support Investor Relations with key shareholder activities including review and reconciliation of CEO and CFO scripts 

Support External Reporting with public disclosure preparation such as the 10Q and 10K 

Partner with Treasury, Tax, Technical Accounting, and other departments to manage key forecast assumptions including share count, tax rates, interest expense, and FX rates 

Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and HR to calculate the annual incentive compensation payout calculations for executives and business unit plans 

Own the production of the Compensation presentation to the Compensation Committee 

Partner with the Financial Systems team as the primary FP&A contact for the HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) reporting and planning tool 

Manage the Enterprise FP&A team consisting of two Senior FP&A Managers 

Own calculation of various financial metrics like Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), Economic Value Added (EVA), and Debt to EBITDA 

Support ad hoc projects as required 

Minimum Requirements 

12+ years professional experience including 4+ years managerial experience 

Critical Skills 

FP&A experience 

Strategic mindset with ability to review and validate consolidated numbers at a high level without getting lost in the details 

Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines with ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives concurrently 

Strong critical thinking skills with ability to challenge conventional approaches, demonstrate flexibility, and offer alternative solutions 

Ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to C-suite decision makers 

Ability to build strong business partnerships and collaborate across multiple stakeholders 

Demonstrated success with leading teams 

Additional Knowledge & Skills 

Superior knowledge of P&L, Statement of Cash Flows, and Balance Sheet 

Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results 

Self-learner and demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity 

Ability to think things through with incomplete data 

Corporate FP&A, financial reporting & consolidation experience 

Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value 

Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Strong attention to detail 

Works well under pressure 

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment 

International Corporate Finance experience is preferred 

Intermediate to advanced MS PowerPoint 

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel 

Financial systems experience with ability to reconcile information from multiple sources (Hyperion Financial Management experience a plus) 

Education 

Bachelor’s degree required 

MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$130,000 - $216,600
