Gilead’s R&D Oncology and Inflammation strategies.** **·** **Work directly with our Search and Evaluation team and Competitive Intelligence group to understand therapeutic area landscapes, inflection points of key clinical stage programs, and define competitive landscapes for targets/programs of interest.** **·** **Present new opportunity summaries and recommendations to therapeutic area leadership at regular triage meetings.** **·** **Partner with Foster City Search and Evaluation colleagues to lead cross-functional scientific diligence teams assembled to deeply evaluate selected opportunities – summarize key findings, key risks, next steps for additional diligence, and team recommendation and for programs which progress, subsequently prepare and present with the diligence team and Corporate Development transaction lead the opportunity to Gilead’s internal Governance body for approval to proceed with financial and contract negotiations with the external party.** **·**
