Director, Content Experience Lead 

 

 

The Director, Content Experience Lead on the Content & Campaign Activation team, will own the content experience strategy with a focus on AI-powered content creation, personalization, and scalable authoring to drive impactful digital marketing. He/she will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to:

 

Innovate across content creation, review and approval workflows, and content orchestration.Deliver scalable high-impact proof-of-concept initiatives that enhance speed and efficiency across the content supply chain.

 

This role reports to the Senior Director, Content & Campaign Activation, and partners closely with Creative Services, Marketing Effectiveness, Product and Portfolio Squads, Promotional Review Team (PRT), IT, and Global stakeholders to deliver content capabilities at the highest levels of quality and customer impact.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Director, Content Experience Lead, are to:

 

Craft and evangelize roadmap for USPH Content Experience;Evolve & optimize design systems (web and email);Setup AI-driven scalable automated content authoring capability;Partners with US Content Assembly lead to scale and enhancement of digital content assembly processes by leveraging automation and AI solutions;Lead organizational efforts to deliver personalization, accessibility, and campaign integration across channels in partnership with the Omnichannel Engagement Lead;Evolve the US Consent Solution / US Preference Center to elevate the customer experience;Socialize and fine tune content performance KPIs to drive improved content optimization opportunities.

 

WHO YOU ARE 

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Digital experience with expertise in leading teams or leading without authority in a matrixed organization;Design System Leadership: Ability to define and evolve design systems across web and email, ensuring scalability and governance;Content Strategy: Experience in driving scalable, modular, and reusable content strategies that support personalization;Cross-functional Leadership: Strong collaboration with UX, technology, legal/compliance, and marketing teams;Program Management: Leading large-scale digital transformation and experience optimization initiatives;Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with GenAI tools & AI assisted workflows;Understanding of AI-powered personalization platforms;Familiarity with front end development principles & Content Management System (CMS) platforms;Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and inclusive design principles;Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of digital compliance and consent requirements (HIPAA, CCPA, etc.);Content Governance: Ability to build frameworks for consistent tagging, reuse, and metadata standards;Strong communication and storytelling abilities for stakeholder engagement;High adaptability to evolving technologies and organizational needs;Familiarity with Agile or SAFe frameworks for content delivery.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Background working in a Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical environment is preferred;Generally, qualified candidates will have more than 12 years of digital experience with 8 years of expertise in leading teams or leading without authority in a matrixed organization.

 

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $158,905 to $238,358. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
