This role will be a critical leader in designing and delivering compensation strategies that attract and retain world-class talent, while ensuring both internal equity and external competitiveness. This role will serve as a key partner to the People Business Partners, company leadership, and have involvement in all compensation-related interactions with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. 

The ideal candidate will have a strategic command of total rewards, coupled with public-company executive compensation expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to confidently influence complex stakeholder groups.

Compensation Strategy & Execution

Program Design: Create and expand our salary, bonus, and equity programs to align with our strategy and culture, reinforce our mission and values, and ensure we are competitive in the talent market.

Annual Compensation Cycle: Lead the annual compensation planning process, including benchmarking, merit increases, bonus payouts, and equity refresh grants.

Job Architecture: Partner with the People Leadership team to steward our job architecture and leveling framework, managing pay ranges, market data, and internal equity guardrails to ensure career paths are clear and fiscally disciplined.

Commissions Planning: Gain an understanding of our complex commission structure and partner with our Finance team

Executive Compensation & Board Engagement

Compensation Committee: Own the preparation of Compensation Committee materials and drive the executive compensation agenda in partnership with Human Resources, Legal, and Finance.

Executive Counsel: Provide strategic guidance to the Executive Leadership Team on equity programs, pay-for-performance alignment, and market competitiveness.

Public Company Compliance: Partner with Legal to ensure full compliance with public company disclosure requirements, including proxy filings and financial reports.

Program Overview: Gain a full understanding of the total rewards offering

Analytics & Governance

Data-Driven Insights: Build and maintain robust compensation and benefits analytics to support transparency and data-driven decisions.

Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with internal controls, external audits, and evolving legal and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Legal, Finance, and People teams to ensure alignment across all systems and policies.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of progressive compensation experience, including executive compensation leadership in a publicly traded company.

3+ years of people leadership 

Some experience directly supporting Compensation Committees and engaging with board-level stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of compensation structures (base, bonus, equity), equity vehicles (RSUs, PSUs, options, ESPP), and benefits programs.

Strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP) are preferred.

Proven ability to lead and influence in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$143,275.86 to $191,034.48
