**Overview** The Director, Commercial at The Landmark, Tiffany’s iconic, world renowned Fifth Avenue flagship is a critical leadership role. In this cornerstone position, you will be responsible for leading the commercial excellence of Tiffany & Co.'s largest, most important flagship store. Specifically, you will lead and engage a team comprised of Sales, Creative Visual Merchandising, Retail Learning, and Retail Performance. This role includes driving exceptional store performance, fostering the development and advancement of talent, and cultivating enduring client relationships to ensure outstanding experiences. + A pivotal cross-functional partner, you will strategically leverage internal and external resources to optimize business outcomes, guarantee seamless operational effectiveness, and foster an unparalleled luxury service environment within the store, reflecting the magnitude of this architectural icon. + A leader with a proven track record in relationship cultivation, you will serve as an inspiring and collaborative leader, adept at building strong connections with both external clientele and internal stakeholders. Your passion for the luxury goods sector, combined with a keen understanding of its distinct challenges and opportunities, will be critical to your success within this expansive and significant retail environment. + A Tiffany Ambassador, you will champion the brand's values and aspirations within the market, enhancing its prestige and reach given The Landmark's prominent position. **Responsibilities** + Lead the Commercial Function including Sales, Creative Visual Merchandising, Retail Learning, and Retail Performance teams through recruitment, training, and coaching. Drive exceptional client service, sales achievements, and elevated standards across a complex, high-volume environment. Oversee all aspects of retail operations to ensure efficient and profitable store performance. + Establish and execute ambitious team and individual performance targets for The Landmark, ensuring a culture of accountability. Work cross-functionally to align all support functions and efforts with sales strategies to maximize revenue across The Landmark. + Cultivate a highly collaborative and passionate culture that fosters initiative, innovation, and brand loyalty. Facilitate open communication and partnership across departments to drive sales performance. Champion a client-centric culture that prioritizes building lasting relationships and exceeding client expectations. + Deliver clear performance expectations, consistent feedback, and insightful reviews to optimize individual and team contributions. Partner with HR and leadership to develop talent, create career development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the store. + Embody the Tiffany brand through impeccable elegance, sophistication, and professionalism. Foster meaningful relationships with clients and partners to elevate the brand's presence and drive sales. Above all, you will recognize that people make the difference. **Experience** + Proven experience managing a large, freestanding flagship luxury boutique with oversight of 75+ client advisors and $50 MM+ in annual sales. + Distinguished track record of superior commercial and client development skills, coupled with prior executive-level management of multiple functions beyond sales. Expertise includes visual merchandising strategies, retail learning initiatives, and the establishment and execution of retail excellence programs to optimize performance across a high-volume, luxury environment. + Demonstrated ability to deliver strong financial results and drive profitability through outstanding team leadership and strategic execution. + Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in market. + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred. **Skills** + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Possess strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ), enabling effective leadership, conflict resolution and team motivation in a demanding retail environment. + Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to diverse cultural norms and customs, facilitating effective communication and exceptional client experience within a global context. Ability to adapt communication styles and strategies to build rapport with clients and colleagues from varied backgrounds. + Multilingual capabilities, with proficiency in French preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system. The base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $265,000 per year. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
