Primary Job Location: (USA) Candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Travel: Up to 25% travel and requires a minimum of 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other Graduate Degree Preferred
Preferred Experience: 5-10 Years of relevant experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry.

As the Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations – Coca-Cola TM, you will lead the development of the commercial strategy and commercial operations processes to support the commercialization of bottle/can innovation and programs for the US and Canada, focused on our Coca-Cola TM portfolio.

In this role, you will partner closely with Brand, RGM, Finance, and Supply Chain during the Stages & Gates routines and duration of the innovation commercialization process. You will serve as the major intersection (lead) in the organization between category/brand teams and ops teams, working with field and franchise teams to communicate initiatives to bottlers and customer teams.

The role also acts as the primary source of feedback to the brand/category from customers, channels, and franchise teams, in addition to managing any issues requiring alignment across large stores and small stores; supporting commercial in the delivery of innovation plans across channels.  This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong project management skills, the ability to influence, comfortable presenting in large groups, communicating effectively, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do for Us:

Develops commercial strategy for brand programs and serves as commercial SME on project team led by Marketing Ops

Leads commercial strategy development and execution of bottle/can innovation from Gate 0 through 13 weeks post-launch

Partners with CSO Base Business Director to ensure alignment of innovation and programs to the category commercial strategy

Collaborate with the broader commercial team and commercial operations teams to ensure the application of key category plans into channel commercial plans and PicOS

Work across functions to build operating guidance and plans on how to best commercialize and scale innovation and programs.

Be the system SME on assigned innovation and program initiatives as the voice of the brand on center-out plans.

Manages INCAST and stewards results via monthly CSS governance routine while participating in Stages & Gates and forecast calibration to drive alignment for innovation

Builds and deploys operations plans for innovation, as well as sample distribution, and stewards performance results for the first 13 weeks 

Steward's commercial strategy to Franchise via Franchise Integrated Execution and supports individual Franchise teams on an as-needed basis

 Partners with Finance, Brand, and Supply Chain to manage innovation BD&L

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other Graduate Degree Preferred

5-10 Years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

Leadership and experience working across retail channels – e.g., large store, small store, and club channels

Ability to collaborate with brand/category/franchise teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing a wide variety of stakeholders

Brand/category management experience

Proven track record of ability to not only embrace change, but to drive it and comfort work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Effectively communicates and builds relationships at all internal and external organizational levels; communicates long-term vision and shorter-term opportunities through clear and simple messages.

Pay Range:

$141,000 - $165,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
