About the RoleDoorDash is hiring an exceptional, business-minded deal lawyer and leader to join our Commercial Legal team. You will manage a team of talented and committed lawyers, work alongside them with key partners throughout the company, including Business Development, Sales, Finance and Procurement, to close first-of-kind strategic partnerships and high-value deals. You’ll work on a wide variety of deal types, many of which enable DoorDash to open new routes to market. You’ll also be the lead on major deals and projects that make an immediate impact on our fast-growing, dynamic business. Above all, you’ll help our business partners and executives solve problems and take down roadblocks.
We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong work ethic, excellent analytical and communication skills, and incredibly solid fundamentals as a lawyer. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic leader who is creative and thinks outside-the-box, is a self-starter who takes ownership over initiatives, and is hands-on taking into consideration the lowest level of detail.
You will report into the Senior Director, Commercial Legal, who leads the team that supports all commercial work for DoorDash.

You have a J.D. and are admitted to any US state bar.
