Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Director, CMC Pharmaceutics to work collaboratively to develop and deliver appropriate drug products for different phases of animal and human studies. Guide pre-formulation characterization and the design of formulations. Monitor the development of appropriate analytical testing methods for drug products. Manage the manufacture of drug products for toxicology studies, clinical trials, and commercial supply. Author and review technical documents, formulation development reports, and drug product sections for global marketing applications. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field and 10 years of experience with pharmaceutical product development. Experience must include a minimum of: 8 years of experience with developing solutions related to solid and oral dosage forms; 8 years of experience troubleshooting manufacturing process issues related to wet granulation, dry granulation, blending, tablet compression, coating, encapsulation, and related equipment; 8 years of experience with performing root cause analysis and risk assessments related to pharmaceutical manufacturing; 8 years of experience evaluating project concepts and strategy for formulation design, drug product, and manufacturing processes; and 3 years of experience in enabled formulation development and manufacture. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. 20% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$212,722.00 - $247,500.00

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
