Job Description
This role involves directing and overseeing all clinical research functions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and individual clinical study regulations. The Director will manage clinical research coordination, study management, personnel management, and administrative duties, while also serving as a liaison between pharmaceutical companies and the site.
ResponsibilitiesScreen patients for entry onto study protocols and instruct them accordingly.Prepare patients for informed consent and obtain medical and medication histories.Assess patient medical status prior to visits and assist during study visits.Prepare written prescriptions, take vital signs, and process lab specimens.Infuse study medication, monitor patient safety during infusion, and dispense study medication.Maintain medical and medication records and prepare home infusion therapy orders.Make referrals to specialists and triage patient phone calls.Ensure adherence to GCP guidelines and maintain study documentation.Manage a team of research nurse coordinators to implement clinical study policies.Serve as primary liaison between pharmaceutical companies and the site.Write policies and SOPs, review contracts, and prepare regulatory documents.Monitor study payments and ensure accurate financial records.Essential SkillsClinical research management and coordination.RN license with at least 5 years of experience in research.Regulatory compliance, including FDA submissions, GCP, SOP, and IRB.Phlebotomy and infusion skills.Experience in managing budgets and contracts.3-5 years of supervisory experience in a research setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsRegistered Nurse license in Georgia.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong ability to manage multiple projects.Strategic planning and business management knowledge.Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills.Commitment to patient care.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
