Director, Client Success

About the role:

We're adding to our Client Success team, and are searching for an experienced Client Success leader to work with top tier clients in a growing market while managing a great team of Account Managers. A successful candidate for this role has built collaborative client relationships, understands the digital advertising landscape, is fluent in programmatic advertising and the RTB landscape, excels in fast-paced startup environments, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will report to the VP of Client Success and work closely with the Sales, Supply, Analytics, and Product teams to ensure client success across both managed and self-service advertising campaigns.

What you’ll do:

Focus on regional revenue management including delivery of all campaign revenue, up-selling and incremental activities, and strategic direction of the local CS team

Directly own relationships and account health of agency holding company level clients

Development and execution of processes and strategy intended to drive positive results and experiences for our customers; including day to day engagement with clients, interaction with internal teams to deliver on customers’ needs, and execution on revenue generating initiatives

Leading and building a client success team dedicated to the highest levels of service for our customers, across managed service and self service LOBs campaigns, and representing Vistar as a leader in DOOH

Understanding clients’ buying cycles, business goals, and KPIs and how Vistar can facilitate customer growth as a go to solution

Be an expert in all things DOOH and a resource for internal and external stakeholders

Assist in developing, negotiating, and structuring long-term relationships with clients; including contract negotiations, client entertainment, and relationship management

Provide input on products based on client feedback that will help drive revenue

Become an expert in Vistar's DSP in order to be a trusted advisor and provide top-tier service to clients

What experience we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree

7+ years in ad tech working with brands / agencies / trading desks / ad networks; prior experience working at a DSP a major plus

Experience managing and mentoring client success or account management team

Fluent understanding of exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, and the programmatic buying process

Experienced in both managed and self service client support

Skilled in working with media agencies and navigating agency teams

Startup environment experience is a plus
