Leadership & Strategy
+ Lead the Mexico-based client success team, including relationship managers, technical project managers, and program and compliance managers.
+ Represent Mexico on the global Client Success leadership team, working to align local strategy and resources with global priorities and processes.
+ Ensure the team delivers exceptional client experiences—from initial implementation through long-term account management—by driving operational excellence and building trusted relationships that delight our clients.
+ Lead and develop a diverse, high-impact team by setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and creating opportunities for growth and advancement.
+ Serve as a bridge between global leadership and the local team—advocating for company priorities while championing the voice, needs, and accomplishments of the Mexico team across the broader organization.
+ Act as the senior-most leader in Mexico, responsible for creating a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative culture.
+ Analytical strength to solve problems (quickly and locally).
Regulatory & Legal Oversight
+ Serve as the local legal representative for the company in Mexico, ensuring all operations remain compliant with regional laws and regulations.
+ Oversee bin sponsorship operations and regulatory relationships.
Revenue & Commercial Partnership
+ Partner closely with revenue leadership in Mexico to support strategic deals and evaluate the operational and technical impact of commercial opportunities.
+ Provide input into deal structuring to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
Product & Market Strategy
+ Apply deep knowledge of our platform capabilities and services to assess market positioning and identify opportunities for product and solution expansion.
+ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the product roadmap, validate early product concepts with local clients, and help ensure market fit.
+ Leverage technical and industry expertise to formulate and execute regional product strategies.
Program & Portfolio Management
+ Oversee the successful execution of client programs, ensuring that project plans are designed to meet customer needs and expand market share.
+ Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies to drive operational excellence.
+ Navigate payments eco systems, especially specific to Mexico and Columbia.
Performance Management & KPIs
+ Establish and manage clear KPIs to measure the success of client relationships, program delivery, compliance, and bin sponsorship activities in Mexico.
+ Track team performance and operational efficiency across key functions, using data to drive improvements and resource alignment.
+ Regularly report on regional performance to global leadership, providing insights, risks, and opportunities that inform business strategy.
+ Partner with Finance and Operations teams to ensure revenue contribution, cost structure, and growth goals are monitored and met.
+ Foster a results-oriented culture through goal setting, performance reviews, and continuous coaching and feedback.
Qualifications
+ 10+ years of experience in financial services or fintech, with proven leadership of cross-functional teams in a regional or general management capacity.
+ Deep understanding of the Mexican regulatory and banking environment.
+ Strong client-facing experience, with a track record of successful partnership with commercial teams.
+ Demonstrated success working across global teams and aligning regional strategy with corporate goals.
+ Experience managing technical and product-driven teams is preferred.
+ Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
+ Based in Mexico City, able to be onsite weekly.
+ Self learning skills, (lots of reading, learning and researching).
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
