Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role you will be responsible for strategy development and implementation to drive net client growth. Through Consumer Banking Mega Journey, one of the largest transformation program at RBC, you will have the opportunity to impact and influence digital roadmap to ensure we deliver on exceptional client experience through channel of their choice, ensure alignment to our ambitious client growth objectives and develop business cases to support the CBMJ program.  You will work with partners across all LOBs and channels within Personal Banking to ensure strategy alignment and prioritization.

What will you do?

Develop client growth strategy and define long-term objectives client growth aspirations for the organization

Provide strategic direction and impact and influence to ensure most impactful initiatives are prioritized to drive net client growth within CBMJ mandate

Ensure initiatives and enhancements are aligned to CBMJ OKRs and long-term client growth aspirations

Develop, track and monitor key performance metrics to drive quantifiable value to the organization; leverage data and key business insights to drive continuous improvement

Oversee CBMJ progress to ensure continuous value creation for the organization, from project evaluation / business case development to execution and monitoring

Align key peers and partners across the organization to CBMJ objectives and influence prioritization to drive net client growth

Monitor competitors, peer organizations and regulatory environment changes to stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry to secure the organization's competitive position

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen who can unpack complex and ambiguous problems to identify and distill key opportunities and translate into prioritization

Strong analytical ability to forecast, dive deep into portfolio trending analysis and unpack financial statements to direct strategic business decisions and articulate into clear and concise business cases

Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills to drive impact and influence

Proven growth mindset with deep curiosity, an advocate for an exceptional client experience, emotionally intelligent and demonstrates good judgement

7+ years in product management, strategy development, client acquisition and engagement experience with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams

Nice-to-have:

Experience with building strong businesses cases and familiarity with the PAR process

Experience with GTM strategies to roll out initiatives within P&CB

Know how digital initiatives are prioritized and delivered at RBC
