Director, Central Sales Strategic Planning and Operations
**Summary:** The mission of our Sales Strategic Planning and Operations (SSPO) function is to drive efficient revenue growth and product adoption by integrating the business with Meta's monetization priorities and transforming our organization into a data-driven entity. Meta is seeking a dynamic, experienced Director to lead our Central SSPO function. This leader will manage a globally dispersed team responsible for setting strategic direction, designing, scaling, and optimizing internal processes, programs, and frameworks that increase the efficiency, accountability, and effectiveness of our Sales organization.Key responsibilities include setting the vision for the central function and leading teams responsible for the operations of Cross-Channel Ads Sales, Cross-Channel Enterprise Sales, and Global Programs and Incentives. The Director will partner closely with Product leaders, Data Science, Sales leaders, core cross-functional and Regional teams, to surface insights, ensure processes evolve with business needs, and integrate with internal tools and priorities such as sales goals, segmentation and service models, reporting, incentive programs, and more.This leader is a proven systems-level thinker with experience developing and driving operational strategy, building and scaling existing processes, ideating and implementing new approaches to sales operations, and executing flawlessly from end to end. Above all, this Director must be an impactful organizational leader who can communicate a shared vision with cross-functional leadership and teams, develop a high-performing team, and ensure the business delivers measurable results at scale. **Required Skills:** Director, Central Sales Strategic Planning and Operations Responsibilities: 1. Define cohesive operations strategy to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales team by partnering closely with our product and sales teams 2. Establish consultative relationship with regional teams to help them achieve strategic and operational goals 3. Guide the development of systems, tools, programs and processes that enable more efficient business performance and drives greater accountability 4. Drive execution by quickly moving from high-level conversations into detailed operational discussions and planning 5. Tap into analytical understanding of the business, levers, metrics and problem solving skills to dive into a specific area of the business and identify opportunities to make improvements 6. Develop and guide organizational effectiveness, proactive talent planning, change management and conflict resolution 7. Build and maintain productive working relationships with our core internal partners, such as Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Sales leaders to deliver against the business priorities 8. Develop, retain and motivate the organization while continually raising the bar for talent across the globe 9. Travel as needed **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 10. Bachelor's Degree 11. 16+ years of business operations experience 12. 12+ years people management, influencing and coaching skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams 13. Proven experience leading global sales operations strategy, and centralized operations projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy 14. Experience building and scaling entirely new initiatives or programs, from defining the strategy to execution and management post-launch 15. Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights and data into actionable recommendations for leaders 16. Proven experience partnering closely with and influencing Product and cross-functional partners to deliver on integrated roadmaps and plans 17. Demonstrated problem solving and analysis skills, experience solving complex and different business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) 18. Experience effectively navigating through ambiguity and complexity to overcome obstacles 19. Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational improvements and success by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 20.
