Primary responsibilities:

Provide governance and management of our tail spend solution.  Accountable for the tail spend provider performance and providing necessary oversight to our provider of sourcing services – savings delivery, KPI, SLAs, etc.Accountable for delivering savings targetsEngage internal clients to identify and implement recommended changes and enhancements to improve user experienceManage and mitigate risks associated with the tail spend provider relationship while strategically driving the vendor’s performance and identifying cost savings opportunitiesOversee the transition of services to tail spend solution partner and ongoing relationship managementManage and mitigate risks associated with the tail spend solution while strategically driving the vendor’s performance and identifying cost savings opportunitiesInterface and influence various senior level stakeholders and leaders within the organizationMaintain deep expertise of operations that are being outsourced to the tail spend provider and develop effective solutions to both operational and contractual problemsOversee the coordination and incorporation of category strategies and playbooks in partnership with Sourcing and Procurement teams and tail spend solutionBuild and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels.Point of escalation and business / provider liaison for issuesThe Tail Spend Sourcing Program Manager will collaborate closely with the Category Strategy Leads, Site/Regional Procurement and Purchase-Pay-Pay Shared Services colleagues to enable an end-to-end procurement process

 

Required Experience  

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a technical major or business concentration5 years indirect sourcing, procurement or category managementGlobal / regional work experience across multiple category teams, site procurement and P2P shared servicesHighly proficient in analytics, negotiations, program management and communications

 

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of tail spend management expertise5+ years working at a firm that provides Tail Spend solutionVendor management Procurement Operations / P2P MBA
