Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Director to join and support us in our vision of building a best-in-class Visa Design Studio for one of the most impactful brands in the world. This role plays a strategic and operational leadership role, bridging commercial impact with creative delivery across digital and physical workstreams, reporting to the Head of Visa Creative Studio.

The ideal candidate will lead in-house teams to deliver integrated campaigns in three key areas of growth, Consumer Solutions, B2B Marketing and Marketing Services. They will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, creative quality, and business impact across all campaign and marketing services initiatives.

This person must have a talent for building strong partnerships with marketing executives, cross-functional business stakeholders, regional and market teams. They must have the ability to build and operationalize a team that consistently produces integrated creative solutions across the full spectrum of the media mix. They need to be able to work with their creative partners, be comfortable in guiding internal teams, agencies and production partners, and roll up their sleeves to do the work when necessary.

This role will be responsible for overseeing a team comprising of campaign managers, project manager, and production manager. This role will report to the Senior Director, Head of Visa Creative Studio.

What you’ll do:

Integrated Marketing Campaigns

Lead planning and delivery of all Visa-led consumer campaigns across digital, social, POS, ATL, and experiential

Input into and disseminate globally led integrated creative campaign toolkits.

Partner with Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Consumer Solutions, Digital Innovation, B2B Marketing, Sponsorship and Experiential regional teams to translate business priorities into creative briefs and campaign roadmaps for markets

Be accountable for contributing to marketing performance through defined KPIs and targets

Campaigns for Marketing Services Clients

Oversee the delivery of co-marketing and scalable marketing services campaigns for Visa’s clients - issuers, partners, and merchants - balancing creative excellence with commercial objectives.

Ensure timely delivery and optimized resourcing of campaigns to meet market needs

Creative Operations and Agency Management

Lead a high performing in-house team to deliver end-to-end campaign operations: from resourcing to planning, production and deployment.

Inspire and partner Visa’s Creative and Design team with an ambition of creative effectiveness

Work with internal creative teams and manage external creative resources where needed (agency partners, freelancers, translators) to support Visa’s expanding creative / execution needs in creative strategy, execution and production.

Partner Card Design and Brand Governance on projects that align to Visa’s global brand identity system.

Growth & Planning

Mentor and grow a team of high-performing senior managers and work seamlessly with the creative team, project managers, and production

Support the Senior Director to position Visa Creative Studio in annual planning, cross-functional forums, reviews, and planning cycles to create more growth opportunities

Regularly report on project pipeline, team capacity, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

QualificationsDegree in Marketing or any relevant discipline12+ years of experience in integrated marketing and campaign development — preferably within a matrixed or regional organization or creative agency environment.Experience in payments and the financial services industry would be a plus.Strong creative sensibility and operational discipline—able to drive both inspiration and deliverySkilled stakeholder manager who can align in-house team and external vendorsExcellent communicator and team leader, with experience mentoring managers and building high-performance teamsExcellent people leader with proven ability to manage teams, the work, and influence outcomes in highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact.
