Director, Business Process

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and people-focused Director, Business Process for Financial Services and Solutions and Corporate Finance to lead impactful process improvement initiatives across our organization. This role is responsible for shaping and executing a process excellence strategy that drives business growth, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide value creation. The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer, capable of aligning stakeholders, developing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable outcomes.

Process Strategy & Execution

Define and implement a process excellence strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.Drive cross-functional collaboration across a matrixed organization to integrate process improvements into operations.Partner with senior executives to identify and prioritize initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve experiences.Translate process insights into strategic recommendations that influence decision-making at all levels.Govern process excellence initiatives with clear accountability, performance metrics, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor a team of process improvement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.Champion Lean Six Sigma principles and change management best practices across the organization.Actively support Business Process Consultants in their career development.Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to evolve process capabilities.

Strategic & Operational Expertise

Strategic mindset with the ability to connect process improvement to long-term business value.Proven success in matrixed environments, driving alignment across diverse stakeholders.Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, and enterprise process transformation.Knowledge of technologies used in Finance organizations is a plus.

Influence & Communication

Expert level communication skills with the ability to target messages by stakeholder group and job level Ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.

Desired skills  

Business acumen and ability to quickly learn business operations with the intent of applying intake and prioritization processes and tools.Building business relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted partner to influence and provide consultative services to business stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.Self-motivated, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities and leading multiple projects to successful completion. 

Degree, Certification, and Experience

Degree or equivalent experience, typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/or PMP certification is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $127,300 - $212,100
