We're looking for aDirector, Business Controllingto join our global team on a fixed-term contract, starting at the latest in December for about 10 months.
As a core member of the Business Control Leadership Team in a publicly listed company, you'll be instrumental in shaping our financial future. You'll lead the development and execution of group-wide financial planning, rolling forecasting, and management reporting, providing the insights necessary for sound decision-making and sustained financial health. This role involves close collaboration with the SVP, Business Control, and leading our Group Business Controlling and Group Functions' Controlling teams.
Main tasks and responsibilities
+ Leads the monthly financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and management reportingfor the Kalmar Group, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements, principles, and timetables
+ Leads analyses of monthly performance, interprets results, and prepares commentary for top management and Board of Directors
+ Leads strategic developmentof business controlling processes and management reporting
+ Key user and responsible for reporting toolssupporting business reporting and forecasting (HFM, Adaptive)
+ Inspires and leads a teamof finance professionals, ensuring accurate, on-time, and improving controlling activities
+ All work is conducted incompliance with Global Company guidelines, Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, controls, and legal requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
Education
+ Master’s level degree in business, economics or other relevant field of study.
Experience
+ 5-10 years of relevant experience in business controlling or finance process development.
Competencies
+ Strong knowledge on business controlling, finance process and reporting IT tools
+ Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
+ Proactive and structured way of working
+ Excellent presentation, change management, communication, influencing and networking skills
+ Mindset of striving for continuous improvement of processes and tools
+ Savvy with IT tools, especially HFM and Excel (Google tools and QlikSense are merits)
+ Fluent English, both written and spoken
+ Experience with data visualization, dashboard tools, SQL and other programming languages are merits
