Director, Business Architect for Developer
Microsoft Corporation
Winning the hearts and minds of developers is a strategic priority for Microsoft, our partners, and our customers. Our comprehensive portfolio—including Azure services, GitHub, Visual Studio, and AI offerings—positions us to earn developer trust, secure their tools and workloads, and ensure the applications they build and the data they rely on run on Azure.
With over 100 million developers on GitHub and adoption by 90% of Fortune 100 companies, GitHub is the world’s leading AI developer platform. Being the platform of choice enables us to capture modern, intelligent applications that drive Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) and expand Azure market share. By infusing AI and machine learning through our Data & AI services, we differentiate Microsoft’s value proposition and outpace the competition. (Watch the GitHub Universe 2023 keynote for more.)
Our team plays a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life—defining go-to-market (GTM) strategy, planning, programs, and field execution—in close partnership with corporate stakeholders.
As the Business Architect for the Developer business, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy that empowers the field to achieve business goals across GitHub (including Copilot), Microsoft Visual Studio, Dev Box, and in collaboration with adjacent teams across Microsoft (e.g. Data & AI, and Azure Infrastructure, Power Platform).
In close partnership with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales leadership, you will define the optimal field model to elevate Microsoft's AI-Powered developer tools & platforms to customers and partners. Acting as a visible advocate for the field, you will represent the voice of the customer across corporate functions. You will also own the business performance for associated generative AI services, leading the rhythm of business (RoB), tracking key metrics, and identifying market opportunities to drive growth.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
