As a member of the LMG Alignment team, you will drive focus of the Executive Leadership team for Liberty Mutual on the most critical areas through setting cadences and agendas, and the engagement of the broader Executive and Senior Leadership teams on our strategic direction (ELM and SLM). You will develop executive level presentations for various internal and external audiences, including the Board of Directors. You will act as a liaison between Cross Business Unit teams, functional partners and corporate groups drive increased collaboration and improved end to end processes. This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to the Executive Leadership Team. The ideal candidate for this role has a background in strong strategic thinking, an ability to lead cross functional projects and interface with senior leadership and welcomes challenging situations and assignments.

 

Responsibilities

Set annual cadences and agendas with alignment from the executive leadership team. Ensure focus on the most critical work and top strategic priorities.Develop strategic presentations for the Senior Leadership team at Liberty Mutual, to various audiences including Board of Directors and Leadership audiences.Own overall cross business coordination, and delivery of cohesive and purposeful content and storylines.Engage with priority leaders and present out to senior leaders to keep them informed of progress, key milestones, and issues as they arise. Develop a deep understanding of various stakeholder groups and relevant areas to highlight across the business.Establish and foster strong working relationship with functional partners and communications.Support external and internal requests. Ensure appropriate handling and sharing of confidential information.Continuously improve the overall executive management function to better serve senior leaders and stakeholders, deliver creative and purposeful content and storylines.

If you are based outside the Boston area, the role requires a commitment to travel to the Boston office at least twice per month.

Qualifications Bachelor`s degree required, MBA or Master`s preferred, plus 8+ years analytic experience required in a financial and/or project management environment with exposure to project planning and project leadership, modeling, cost benefit analysis; Insurance experience preferredIn depth knowledge of business practices and processesAdvanced presentation and leadership skillsProficiency using analytical toolsAbility to synthesize large amounts of data/information and integrate into a meaningful storyEffective communication skills, ability to communicate upwardAbility to lead cross functional project work and competing deliverables across working groups About Us

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
