Overview
Mastercard is a global payments and technology company. Responsible for managing local marketing plans and execution in Spanish and English Caribbean. Manages budget and has direct relationships with all agencies to coordinate the execution of all local programs. Supports local account teams to strengthen the relationship with issuers and merchant. Manages all Issuer marketing programs and manages Mastercard assets.
Role
Responsible for the Brand awareness & positioning in the Caribbean Cluster
• Responsible for managing and controlling the A&M and MDF budgets
• Responsible for managing the relationship with our key issuers and improving the communication for our marketing initiatives through these issuers.
• Responsible for promoting, executing and monetizing MasterCard assets with key issuers
• Responsible for developing and controlling social media communication calendar
• Responsible for creating and managing the relationships with key marketing partners and merchants
• Responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of local activations, sponsorships, promotions, offers and experiences based on business priorities by cluster (Caribbean) and by market
• Responsible for managing the relationship with advertising, social media and BTL agencies. including the administrative and financial processes
• Responsible for leading all legal processes /contracts with the MasterCard legal team
All About You
Strong experience in marketing function for consumer goods, technology companies, or retail.
Desired Knowledge of payments industry
Bilingual (English and Spanish) mandatory
Willing to travel
Bachelor degree in marketing or Business Administration, MBA good to have
Strong skills managing Excel, Word and Power Point
Experience managing ATL Media and digital / Social, Experience managing BTL campaigns and marketing activation programs, Manage relationship with local agencies, Clear understanding of Payments industry, Strong interpersonal skills, Project management skills, Able to work under pressure, Skilled to manage Excel, Power Point and Word, Analytical, with experience managing budget and legal processes

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
