Your Role:
Tenable is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Analyst Relations to help extend our aggressive growth and drive market recognition for our growing presence in Exposure Management and Cloud Security. In this role, you’ll draw on your AR expertise, strategic insight, and industry relationships to build strong, productive engagement with the analyst community. You’ll work cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, and executive leadership to define and execute a results-driven AR plan that supports Tenable’s business goals and elevates our market position.

Your Opportunity:
Define and lead the global analyst relations strategy, aligning it with corporate, product, and go-to-market prioritiesLead and mentor AR team member(s), fostering growth and impactBuild and maintain strong, influential relationships with key industry analysts across firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and othersLead Tenable’s participation in key analyst evaluations and reports, driving execution and message alignment across internal stakeholdersPlan and manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and strategic engagementsCollaborate with product marketing, product management, and the executive team to deliver clear and differentiated narrativesProvide internal stakeholders with analyst insights that support product development, competitive intelligence, and field enablementPartner with customer-facing teams to identify and prepare customer references for analyst interactionsManage AR program operations, including project management, internal coordination, content development, and performance trackingPublish regular updates to keep internal teams informed of analyst activity and sentimentOwn the AR budget and provide guidance on program investments and agency supportWhat You'll Need:
12+ years of analyst relations or related experience, including 5+ years leading high-impact programs in a high-growth technology environmentExperience in the cybersecurity industry is required, ideally within an enterprise software or SaaS organizationStrong, established relationships with cybersecurity analysts at top-tier firms, with a proven track record of influencing evaluations and securing strong placementsDeep understanding of how analyst relations impacts buying decisions, product strategy, and brand perceptionExceptional communication and storytelling skills—written, verbal, and visual—with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and executive audiencesEffective at managing cross-functional, global projects—able to influence without authority, coordinate across time zones, and drive execution under tight deadlinesHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneouslyAbility to travel up to 15%, including internationallyBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree a plus#LI-Hybrid
