Job Summary:

The Director of Product Management – Airside Products is a key leadership role responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving execution across our airside product portfolio, which includes catalog, custom, and terminal products. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, this role leads a cross-functional organization including product managers, a customer support leader, and a commercialization leader. The ideal candidate brings a strong general manager mindset, deep HVAC industry knowledge, and a passion for developing high-performing teams and customer-centric solutions.

What you will do:    Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product strategy for airside products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics.Organizational Leadership: Lead and develop a direct team of product managers, a customer support leader, and a commercialization leader. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle—from concept through commercialization—ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to drive product development and go-to-market success.Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather insights and validate product direction.Performance & Financial Management: Define KPIs, monitor product performance, and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and business impact.Product Growth Teams (PGTs): Lead cross-functional PGTs using our Business Operating System (BOS) to drive profitable growth and operational excellence.Long-Range Planning: Own the long-term strategic roadmap for the airside portfolio, aligning investment priorities with business objectives and resource planning.Customer Experience Excellence: Champion a seamless customer journey from pre-sale to post-sale, ensuring high-quality, on-time product delivery through the quote-to-cash value stream process.What you will bring:  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Experience: 10+ years in product management, engineering, sales, or operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role; preferably within HVAC or airside operations.
