Job Summary:

As Director, Affiliate Services, you will lead the global Affiliate Services team and be a member of the Enterprise Risk Management organization and support global entities leading PayPal’s Outsourcing Management program. Your role will be to enhance and maintain PayPal’s overall strategy for outsourcing risk management, influence executive-level decision making through strategic risk assessments, partner with stakeholders in a matrixed organization to implement risk reduction strategies, monitor risk exposure, and lead initiatives for long-term outsourcing oversight and governance practices.

PayPal's global operating model depends on a distributed servicing outsourcing model. This role is required to ensure management of outsourcing risk management functions in accordance with global outsourcing regulatory requirements and expectations.

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive PayPal’s global outsourcing risk management program. This role will be responsible for establishing the overall outsourcing strategy with a significant impact on operations, ensuring outsourced service delivery aligns with organizational objectives while managing risk exposure.

The ideal candidate will lead complex, cross-functional projects related to outsourcing governance across PayPal’s legal entities and corporate structures. They will advocate for and champion PayPal’s outsourcing management framework and governance culture, fostering strong relationships across regulated entities and risk management programs.

The role involves operationalizing Affiliate Services processes for newly licensed or regulated entities globally, preparing updates for risk committees and legal entity boards, and leading contract reviews for intercompany and third-party agreements.

The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders across all functional areas to monitor outsourced relationships, resolve performance issues, and provide regular updates to senior management. In addition, this role will develop and enhance global processes, support internal stakeholders with reporting and remediation efforts, and drive continuous improvement to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will also serve as a people manager, leading and developing a global team of outsourcing professionals.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

Establish overall strategy for outsourcing risk management with significant impact on operations

Monitor and analyze outsourced service delivery performance and risk exposure to ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Lead complex projects related to outsourcing governance across PayPal’s legal entities and corporate structures

Advocate and champion PayPal outsourcing management framework and governance culture, foster close relationships across regulated entities and risk management programs

Operationalize Affiliate Services processes for newly licensed / regulated entities globally with respect to Outsourcing obligations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of entity management strategies and outsourcing

Prepare outsourcing updates to the risk committee’s and PayPal Legal Entity Boards

Lead and develop contract review processes related to intercompany and third-party outsourcing agreements

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all Functional Areas to monitor group and third-party outsourced service provider relationships, driving resolution and timely closure of non-performance issues against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  Present timely status updates to senior management

Resolve complex problems by applying functional expertise and understanding current business and regulatory trends

Develop methods and procedures for new assignments to improve global processes

Support key stakeholders in PayPal entities receiving services and assist with the collation and reporting of any data, queries or remediation efforts relating to the services provided

Drive continuous improvement in the monitoring processes required to meet business or regulatory needs
