The Direct Strategic Buying Analyst is responsible for 

\n\n  Purchasing of all or a specific portion of productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling, and/or services. \n  Actively participating in the development of commodity strategy, sourcing/negotiations, global/regional material budget execution, and interface with suppliers or internal stakeholders.\n Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships \n\n

\n\n The ideal candidate: \n\n

 

\n\n Excellent knowledge of the English language (B2-C1 upwards).\n Minimum 5 years’ experience in negotiating, sourcing, and managing contracts. Preferably working with MRO, IT, facilities management, tooling, and indirect material commodities. \n Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, and/or Engineering.\n Automotive industry experience\n  Knowledge of procurement software \n  Knowledge of materials management \n Capable of interpreting market data \n  Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents \n Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes\n Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paint, electronics, etc.) \n Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance \n Proven competence in negotiating skills \n Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills \n\n
