Sourcing Operating Process
Understand and clarify user expectation of RFQ (Request For Quotation) received. Ensure sourcing activities are compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations and laws. Evaluate and Select Suppliers | No conflict of interest, transparent competitive bidding and adherence to EL standards. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the sourcing process meets the needs of stakeholders and the company. Ensure Goods and services procured from suppliers is as per defined quality standards, is delivered on time at the right cost. Monitor and report cost impacts, Value Add and Cost Avoidance and other applicable metrics. Measure supplier performance, Resolve any conflicts and handle escalations from Project team and suppliers. Manage necessary transaction activities applicable to direct procurement (ex. convert PR to PO for nonstock items).Supplier Management
Handle the onboarding of new suppliers and control the changes to supplier master data. Monitor supplier performance, evaluation and feedback (when required). Perform supplier audit (when required) to assess the capabilities and identify any business continuity risks. Manage supplier relationships and escalations (internal and external).Others
Undertake other duties as appropriate within his/her competence, as required. Preparing status reports and presentations as needed by the company. Bachelor’s degree or above in Purchasing & Supply Chain management / Engineering / Business Administration, or related disciplines At least 5 years experienced in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Knowledge of import and export processes, logistics and supply chain functions are an advantageKnowledge and Skills
