The Sourcing Specialist will,

Lead and coordinate sourcing operations for Host entity with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders. Comply and implement strategic sourcing plans in line with country, regional and global directions. Engage with suppliers, negotiate, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. The scope will cover the sourcing of all Direct categories purchases.

Sourcing Operating Process

Understand and clarify user expectation of RFQ (Request For Quotation) received. Ensure sourcing activities are compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations and laws. Evaluate and Select Suppliers | No conflict of interest, transparent competitive bidding and adherence to EL standards. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the sourcing process meets the needs of stakeholders and the company. Ensure Goods and services procured from suppliers is as per defined quality standards, is delivered on time at the right cost. Monitor and report cost impacts, Value Add and Cost Avoidance and other applicable metrics. Measure supplier performance, Resolve any conflicts and handle escalations from Project team and suppliers. Manage necessary transaction activities applicable to direct procurement (ex. convert PR to PO for nonstock items). 

Supplier Management

Handle the onboarding of new suppliers and control the changes to supplier master data. Monitor supplier performance, evaluation and feedback (when required). Perform supplier audit (when required) to assess the capabilities and identify any business continuity risks. Manage supplier relationships and escalations (internal and external).

Others

Undertake other duties as appropriate within his/her competence, as required. Preparing status reports and presentations as needed by the company. Ensures that work and processes comply with company policies and management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and others, if applicable.

Skills & Profile

Bachelor’s degree or above in Purchasing & Supply Chain management / Engineering / Business Administration, or related disciplines At least 5 years experienced in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Knowledge of import and export processes, logistics and supply chain functions are an advantage

Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, procurement best practices, and supply chain management. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction effectively with stakeholders Position requires good analytical and negotiation skills Deadline oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities and carry out plans Good knowledge of finance, legal and contract management is advantageous Good command of verbal and written communication skills (in English and the local language) Proficiency in MS Office, understanding of ERP system e.g., Oracle, SAP is a plus Mature, self-motivated, flexible, proactive, enthusiastic, capable of multi-tasking effectively Able to perform under pressure in a networked environment Strong team-player, and able to work independently
