Direct Placement Manager (MP Engineering)

The Direct Placement Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful development and delivery of in-demand talent and connecting their skills to clients within Manpower Engineering. This role will manage day-to-day operations, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive both technical and process improvements within Perm Placement division The Direct Placement Manager will take point on strategic accounts and drive additional revenue opportunities for Manpower Engineering.

Making an Impact
• Create strategies and tactics to effectively execute against plans to drive growth and efficiency.
• Leverage knowledge of role design, market and rate intelligence to influence and advise clients on talent needs and recruitment strategy.
• Proactively build a strong pipeline of in-demand talent through attraction campaigns and digital outreach programs.
• Apply knowledge of skills and talent base to exceed client expectations and expand sphere of influence within client portfolio.
• Build loyalty and expand opportunities for generating revenue within Manpower Engineering.
• Consult stakeholders on talent challenges and educate on impact of market or workforce trends on their business.
• Ensure client and candidate satisfaction and loyalty.

People Leadership
• Inspire and lead search consultant team committed to exceptional results and delighting clients, consultants, and candidates.
• Oversee quality of search consultant team and mitigate risks with candidate and client satisfaction.
• Coach and train direct hire best practices, processes and technologies to drive engagement and ensure our Engineering search consultants have the skills and tools they need to excel.
• The typical span of control is 5-6 employees.

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
• This role will require 20-30% travel to clients or local branches
• If located near an Engineering branch or HQ, role may have in office requirements
