Direct Lending Business Manager, Senior Associate

The Business Management organization acts as trusted partners and advisors to the business with a goal to develop business strategies, drive execution and implementation of business initiatives and priorities. The Business Management function is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all required finance and business support. The Capital & Advisory Solutions group is looking for an exceptional Business Manager as part of the team supporting Direct Lending. You will be a key partner to senior leaders in the business, helping to scale the operating platform and drive the business agenda for Direct Lending, a strategic growth imperative at the firmwide level. You will bring a strong understanding of financial operations and an ability to drive strategic dialogue across the organization, inform decision-making, proactively solve problems, and provide analytical insight and business judgment in support of strategic and tactical initiatives.
As the Senior Associate Business Manager within the Direct Lending group, you will maintain operating discipline, develop business strategies, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the Global Banking franchise, including Corporate & Specialized Industries, Global Corporate Banking, and Investment, to ensure the effective delivery of strategic finance and business management functions to senior leadership.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Act as strategic partner to senior leadership and managers for Direct Lending stakeholders, leveraging operational experience, data and analytical insights to scale the operating model and assist with the development and execution of business and financial plans
+ Collaborate across finance, business management and other functional areas to understand and communicate results, execute strategic initiatives, and monitor outcomes
+ Establish and maintain end-to-end operating model to track Direct Lending deals across the life cycle of pipeline, credit decisions, closing, portfolio management / analytics, financial reporting, credit reporting, and cross-Line of Business tracking for sharing revenue and collaboration
+ Identify areas for continued process improvement and efficiency by generating innovative ideas and solutions, and working with tech partners to implement strategic CRM solutions
+ Work closely with the financial planning and analytics function to assess business performance, define drivers of outcomes, document areas of opportunity, and execution plans to drive change
+ End-to-end executive-level reporting
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
+ 5+ years of relevant work experience in strategy, financial planning, business management, or sales operations
+ Financial Services experience, and/or Business management and/or project management experience
+ Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work with a high degree of independence
+ Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders, including senior management
+ Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to execute strategic agenda
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
+ Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency in CRM systems
+ BA / BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
