Description Direct hire position available at plastics manufacturing company located in Riverport! Must have sit down forklift experience and knowledge of working in a plastics manufacturing environment!

 

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 an hour, based on experience

Job Duties to include but not limited to:

Reads work order or follows oral instructions to stage materials or to be run through production. Oversee materials and quality control. Learn and know all materials in order to complete tasks correctly and in a timely manner. Collects samples of material to be tested, if needed. Works beside warehouse and production personnel. Communicates efficiently with shipping office and other team members. Stages all materials in designated areas– finished and unfinished loads. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Knows the ins and outs of materials and production (finished and unfinished). Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis, if needed. Self motivation in order to complete all tasks. Does what needs to be done in order to aid in a smooth operation.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of sit down forklift experience

Experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment

Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Able to work overtime as needed

Exceptional attendance history
