Title: Statistical Reporting Manager, Frankfurt

The Finance division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records and by contributing to Firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.

The specific role is within the Statistical Reporting team based in Frankfurt, consisting of 8 people responsible for all statistical reporting. The Statistical Reporting team forms part of the Finance division at Morgan Stanley.

What will you be doing?
> Preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly reporting to the regulators.
> Build effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders across different departments (e.g. Technology, Finance, Operations) to ensure high quality reporting to the regulators.
> Be a contact for the regulators (Deutsche Bundesbank, BaFin) on statistical reporting matters including interpretations and queries.
> Growing to a subject matter expert and key contact for statistical reporting related matters for internal and external stakeholders including new product proposals and regulatory reporting projects.
> Support BAU activities such as monitor regulators queries, delivery coordination, and validation handling. What we're looking for:
> A minimum of 2 years of professional experience preferably within the financial services industry and working with financial regulatory requirements
> Academic degree in business administration or finance preferable.
> Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills with an ability to understand processes and key controls.
> Bringing some exposure to transformation or implementation projects (helpful for upcoming EnCore tasks).
> Good knowledge of Investment Banking business and related products desired.
> Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/ clients at all levels.

Skills that will help you in the role:
> Business fluency in German and English
> Strong computing skills, especially Microsoft Office
> Experience in working with IT and project teams - especially in testing, documentation, and issue resolution would be beneficial
> Attention to detail, time management and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
> Self-motivated and proactive.
