Position Overview:
The Dining Supervisor position is critical to the success of Fooda cafeteria. Based out of San Diego, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food hall.
Who You Are:You love building relationships and enjoy customer serviceYou are comfortable being the first point of contact for Fooda customers in answering questions and escalating questions or concerns appropriately to upper management if neededYou are optimistic in the face of problems and you’re capable of finding solutions quickly and effectivelyYou are very organized and detail oriented--Type-A personality is a plus!You are proactive in your approach to you job responsibilities and are always looking for ways to improvePrior experience in large food service or enterprise catering preferredIdeal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in addition to three to four years of relevant experienceWhat You Will Be Responsible For:Supervising the Day-to-Day operations of a single-unit location with multiple stations ensuring the “Service Experience” of Fooda is consistently offered to all customersMonitor the set-up, restocking and breakdown of cafeteria dailyOversee daily arrival and set up of all restaurants – holding them to Fooda Standards of Service and SanitationEnsure all customers are rung up and properly charged for goods purchasedUpdate and maintain POS software and database on a daily basisAssist Dining Manager with weekly accounting responsibilities and ensure all financial entries are documented properly within Fooda’s systemsEscalate any potential issues or questions occurring at the Assigned location to Director when necessary to ensure proper procedures are being aligned toWhat We’ll Hook You Up With:Competitive hourly rate based on experienceComprehensive health, dental and vision plansFlexible spending accountsPaid Parental Leave Options401k matching A fulfilling, challenging adventure of a work experienceMust be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The salary range for this role is between $68,000-$75,000 and is dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to work experience, training, location, and skills.
