Event Dates: February 13, 2025 - April 30, 2025

Work Schedule:

It is mandatory to work Wednesday through Sunday, but it may also include some Mondays and Tuesdays.

Primary responsibility

Assist in receiving and putting away deliveries; Ensure dining room supplies are monitored and sufficiently stocked; Assist with cleaning the kitchen, dining room, and storage area; Participate in the teardown and set up of the kitchen; Clean up the coffee area, service line and dining room area; Clean up tables, chairs and floor in the dining room and terrace; Fill up soft drinks, juices, and yogurt in the pastry refrigerator; Clean and fill condiments, i.e. salt, pepper and sugar shakers; Handle dining room inventory control; Change garbage bags; Assist in other areas as needed and assigned by additional Kitchen Manager and Head-Chef staff;

The ideal candidate will

Perform tasks quickly and efficiently; Good manners; Must be honest, punctual, and reliable; Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance; Experience with espresso machines is an asset; Good knowledge of English and the language of the Market; Available to work 5 days a week, including weekends, early mornings, and late nights during the entire city run; Must have a current food handler certificate; Preferably able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness for Temporary Indoor / Outdoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F-04) - Preferred.

Physical Demands:

This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours. May also lift up to 50lbs.

Uniform:

Clean plain t-shirt. Usual black pants or chef pants. Non-slip kitchen shoes with socks. (Safety shoes” during setup and teardown.) Hair net or hair cover if long.
