Dining Receiving Clerk
Overview Rogue Valley Manor, Medford's premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Dining Receiving Clerk to join us in providing our residents with a great hospitality experience when dining with us. You will be responsible for receiving and checking in all Dining Service deliveries to ensure the proper handling, storage, and transportation of items purchased for use. We are not a nursing home or typical retirement community. At our luxury, resort-like community, we are driven to provide our residents with the best hospitality the Medford area has to offer, so our residents don’t need to leave home for an incredible restaurant experience. If you want to be treated like you matter, come join us in pushing the envelope! What You'll Be Doing: Assist in executing the annual inventory of food, alcohol, disposable, and chemical products. Maintain a high level of sanitation and safety in the kitchens and all storage areas, in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines set forth by Pacific Retirement Services (PRS), the Dining Services Director, and the Executive Chef. Prepare and/or organize items for future meal periods and for fellow team members. Properly rotate all items on hand in all Dining Services and Nutritional Services storage areas. Verify accuracy of invoices by checking to ensure all items billed for are received (for example, weighing items such as meats, seafood, and poultry items). Work with the Dining Services Director, Executive Chef, Purchasing Coordinator, and other back-of-house leadership to develop efficient purchasing systems for distributing products and organizing storage locations.
