Kforce has a client that is seeking a Dimensional Engineer in Wentzville, MO. Summary: The Dimensional Engineer has responsibility for managing vehicle fit/finish based on key process metrics from customer feedback; GCA & A/B/C/FVS metrics. This job requires effective communication with production, maintenance, suppliers and shop committee. The work involves a considerable amount of initiative in decision making and is accompanied by a high level of independent judgment. Responsibilities include: * Dimensional Engineer will create a highly engaged floor operations team * Promotes, educates, communicates and follows up on safety initiatives * Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills * Knowledge of Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) * Knowledge of quality control procedures, manufacturing processes, and management systems as they relate to production operations in a BIQ 4 plant * Support fast response and six pillar of quality process reviews * Support GCA, DRR, FTQ, DRL and CPIT problem resolution activities including sufficiency planning and ensure proper communication between internal and external stake holders * Execute 6 pillars of quality process and required process control plans to meet BIQ IV * As a Dimensional Engineer, you will provide day-to-day technical direction to the maintenance & production teams * Keep all metrology tooling - (including Leica Scanning, Vision, Laser Gage, Faro, checking fixtures, CTAC fixtures, Scan Box; Gap & Flush system etc.) in proper working order per specified standards
