Available Shifts:

Monday–Thursday, 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Monday–Thursday, 2nd Shift: 4:12 PM – 2:42 AM

Friday–Sunday, 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Dimension Control Technician to support next-generation aerospace systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your craftsmanship will help ensure the success of pioneering defense and aerospace programs—where exacting tolerances, advanced tooling, and creative problem-solving shape the future of flight.

What You’ll Do

Lay out, fabricate, and assemble both standard and custom jigs, fixtures, tool masters, and related tooling.

Work with compound angles and complex contours requiring precise coordination across multiple planes.

Interpret tool design drawings or develop your own designs to determine operations and methods.

Set up and operate optical instruments to assess alignment, fit, and assembly precision.

Design and develop holding devices, jig and fixture components.

Prepare shop drawings and operational sequences for others to execute.

Support maintenance, inspection, repair, and daily housekeeping activities.

Monitor and verify quality using control procedures such as statistical process methods.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in tool building and machine shop environments.

Strong tool knowledge, with experience in both fabrication and assembly processes.

Ability to read and work from complex technical blueprints and tool designs.

Comfortable working with precise alignment tools and techniques.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using laser trackers.

Familiarity with Verisurf and Mastercam software.

Deep understanding of blueprint reading and advanced measurement systems.

Pay Details: $33.07 per hour
