Tatler is looking for a Digital Writer to join its online desk.
Reporting to Tatler’s Digital Director, you’ll pitch and write the news stories that drive our digital offering, as well as longer, in-depth features.
The ideal candidate will stay calm under pressure and work confidently to tight deadlines. They’ll have a genuine interest in the Tatler world and its cast of characters, an instinct for what makes a story engaging and a good understanding of SEO to ensure stories reach the right audience.
The role
Pitch and write digital news stories and features
Build and format stories for Tatler.com
Ensure all copy is accurate and polished
Use CMS to present content in a glamorous, glossy style
Keep up to date with news in the Tatler world
Occasionally assist with research and writing for the print magazine
About you
Strong writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for accuracy and detail
Proven ability to pitch and develop engaging digital news stories and features
Confidence using a CMS to build and format content to a high visual standard
An understanding of how to present content in line with Tatler’s glossy, luxury aesthetic
Excellent news sense and awareness of stories relevant to the Tatler world
Good research skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimise stories for digital reach
Collaborative approach, with the flexibility to support the print team when needed
